Improvements in skin complexion are just one of the numerous advantages of consistent face reflexology. Below are some post-treatment recommendations that I provide to my clients to help maintain that radiant appearance!
Establish a daily face routine...both morning and evening.

Cleanse your face
There are several reasons why this is crucial:
It helps in eliminating dirt, oil, bacteria, makeup, and debris that may have built up. This helps prevent pores from getting clogged and aids in reducing various skin problems like breakouts, blemishes, acne, and the formation of infections.
It actively promotes skin health by maintaining the balance of skin pH levels.
Anti-aging benefits - cleansing assists the skin by getting rid of pollutants and free radicals that can lead to premature skin aging. I prefer to do a double cleanse, especially after a day with heavy makeup!
Serums
These skincare products are designed to supercharge your facial routine significantly. They are concentrated with active ingredients like antioxidants, vitamins, and peptides, aiming to address specific skincare issues such as fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots, and hydration needs.
Sun Cream
To keep your skin looking youthful, it is advisable to apply a facial sunscreen with at least SPF 30 to protect your skin from the harmful UV rays of the sun, decreasing the chances of sunburn and skin cancer. UV rays can damage the collagen and elastin fibers in the skin, causing early aging, fine lines, and wrinkles.
.
Masks & Exfoliation - The Extras!
If you can spare a bit more time, incorporating these into your weekly skincare routine can be highly beneficial.
Face masks offer a range of advantages such as hydration, detoxification, and brightening, in addition to providing a relaxing experience. Exfoliation aids in the removal of dead skin cells, promoting a smoother and brighter complexion. Both practices can complement your skincare routine effectively.
Consistent use of skincare products is key to maintaining healthy skin. It is crucial to select products, ingredients, and usage frequency that are suitable for your skin type and concerns to establish a personalized skincare regimen that meets your needs and delivers optimal results. With a vast array of skincare products available for different skin types, it is advisable to steer clear of harsh products that may cause tingling or dryness. Always conduct a patch test before trying a new product.
Hydration
One of the easiest ways to keep you skin looking healthy, plump and well hydrated is by drinking enough water.
Balanced Diet
To promote overall skin health eat a balanced diet, rich in protein, Omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. This will also support your immune system and overall health.

Sleep
Ensuring your get enough adequate sleep will contribute to skin health. Quality sleep helps the skin to heal and rejuvenate leading to healthier complexion.
Avoid / Limit Stimulants / Poor Diet
Smoking, excessive alcohol consumption and a poor diet high in sugar and processed foods can all cause inflammation in body and impact negatively on skin health.
Movement & Exercise
Regular exercise increases the flow of blood, this carrying vital nutrients and oxygen to working cells throughout the body, including the skin. Blood flow also helps ta carry away waste products (including free radicals) that are no longer serving us from working cells.

Stress
Skin and skin conditions can be effected by high stress levels. It is important to adopt well being practices into every day life, mindfulness, exercise, meditation, yoga, creative activities and 'me time', to help maintain overall wellbeing as well as helping your skin.
And my final tip...
Use clean face towels, pillow cases & make up brushes
This may seem an obvious one, regularly washing, changing and using clean face towels, pillow cases and clean make up brushes, can help to keep you face clean and support the prevention of skin conditions.
